Roberto Martinez has delivered his verdict on the “attitude” of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr after seeing CR7’s son make his debut for Portugal.

    Ronaldo Jr, at 14 years of age, has made his international bow at U15 level. He helped Portugal to ultimate glory at the Vlatko Markovic international tournament, with silverware being lifted in Croatia.

    Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother attended that event, as her grandson impressed with his quick footwork and eye for goal – two qualities that he has seemingly inherited from his Ballon d’Or-winning father.

    Having seemingly pledged allegiance to Portugal, Ronaldo Jr could one day become a team-mate of his famous father at international level. Martinez told of the progress being made by a talented teenager: “It was very nice to see Cristiano Júnior's attitude and that is not easy when the media is watching an under-15 game. We have to give him space.”
